Five Boroughs

so ive decided that fiveboroughs on cuba street … ive seen interesting content on instagram and heard only good things about their fried chicken , so i went to check what was going on there 😉

nice little place , with the american vibe , a few of the specials on the walls … the friendly staff will guide you through menu !

selection of burgers , fried chicken , sides etc… special mention for the bottomless filter coffee 🙌

ORDER : i went for the RODEO Burger wich wasn’t on the menu , but i saw it on social media so i asked 😁 and they happily made it , burgers are coming with skinny fries … i also got a quarter fried chicken with biscuit and gravy , had to try fried chicken as well 😉 you can choose between a quarter , Half or Whole … but as a side for my burger i think a quarter was the right choice LOL

THE RODEO 🍔

This was a tasty burger !! good size , the beef was juicy and tasty , perfectly cooked medium rare , the cheese was nicely melted all that complemented by the smokey bacon and the crispiness of the onion rings wich at first glance looked a bit weird but tased good so thats what matters right ? 😉  also the brioche bun was fresh and soft … nothing bad to say about this burger wich was perfectly executed by five boroughs 🔝 another winning burger for wellington !

1/4 fried chicken with biscuit and gravy

this chicken was next level  crispy , on the Bone and juicy … the biscuit and gravy nice and warm!

overall i had a bit of a hard time finding flavours in the meet as i thought they was too much rock salt on the batter ! wich was totally blocking my taste buds … so that was a bit of a downer ! i rather had some salt if needed myself …

somtimes less is more !

over all , i enjoyed my experience at five boroughs and will have to comeback for some dessert next time 🙂
